WooCommerce got you here. It probably won’t get you there.

For most D2C founders, WooCommerce starts as a clever choice — flexible, owned, cheap. Then growth happens. And growth is where it breaks.

— 01

Plugins that fight on every update

You ship by Tuesday only because your dev spent the weekend untangling a conflict between three plugins.

— 02

Hosting bills that scale faster than revenue

VPS, CDN, managed WordPress, a cache layer — and the page is still slow on a 4G connection in Tier 2.

— 03

Page speed that quietly kills conversion

Every second past 3 seconds costs you 7% of conversions. WooCommerce makes those seconds hard to claw back.

— 04

A checkout you can’t actually fix

You can’t A/B test it. You can’t easily add UPI intent. You can’t see why people drop off. And it shows in the funnel.

— 05

Security patches that aren’t your job

Every WordPress vulnerability becomes your problem. You shouldn’t be patching cores at midnight.

— 06

Reports your team can’t read

You exported a CSV again. Your finance person made a pivot table. There’s a better way.

Shopify, set up properly. By people who’ve done this before.

We don’t sell migrations as a side service. It’s the work. We’ve moved D2C stores onto Shopify across apparel, beauty, F&B, and home — and we’ve already met every edge case once.

01

Zero data loss

Products, customers, orders, reviews, subscriptions, loyalty points. Mapped, migrated, verified.

02

SEO preserved

301 redirects for every URL, metadata transferred, schema rebuilt. Your rankings come with you.

03

Live in 14 days

Tightly scoped, executed daily. Not a three-month migration that drifts into six.

Everything that needs to move, moves.

One scope. One price. No surprise line items at week three.

Honest answer: because we say no.

Every Shopify partner agency claims to do migrations. Here’s what’s actually different about working with us.

i. Team

In-house, not outsourced

The developers writing your code work in our office, on our salary. No outsourced agencies you’ll never meet.

ii. Access

Direct founder access

You’ll work with Roshni and Vish, not an account manager who escalates everything to someone else.

iii. Focus

D2C-only focus

We don’t do enterprise migrations or marketplace builds. We do brands that sell directly. That’s it.

iv. Honesty

We say no

If migration isn’t right for your stage, we’ll tell you on the audit call. We’d rather lose the project than waste your money.

Are we made for each other?

Not every D2C brand is right for us. Not every agency is right for you. Here’s how we filter.

We’re a fit if

  • You’ve outgrown WooCommerce and are tired of patching plugins on weekends.
  • You’re doing at least 100 orders a month and want infrastructure that scales with you.
  • You value direct founder access and a team that responds in hours, not days.
  • You’d rather pay a fixed price for a real plan than hourly billing on a vague brief.
  • You want a partner who’ll push back on bad ideas, not just execute them.

We’re not a fit if

  • You’re shopping for the cheapest possible quote and plan to negotiate every line item.
  • You need an enterprise migration with custom ERP, multi-store, multi-warehouse from day one.
  • You expect a 3-day turnaround on a complex migration. Speed has limits.
  • You’re not on Shopify yet and aren’t sure you want to be. We don’t talk people into it.
  • You micro-manage every commit and want to approve every CSS change before merge.

Flat fee. Scoped before you commit.

No hourly billing. No surprise change orders. You see the number before you say yes.

Asked & answered.

Will I lose my SEO rankings?

No. Every existing URL gets a 301 redirect to its Shopify equivalent. Metadata, alt tags, and schema all carry over. We’ve never had a client lose meaningful organic traffic post-migration — most see it improve because Shopify pages load faster.

How long does it actually take?

Our standard migration runs 14 days from kickoff to launch. Stores with custom integrations (subscriptions, ERP, multi-warehouse) can take 3–4 weeks — we’ll tell you which bucket yours falls into during the audit.

What happens to my historical orders and customer data?

It all moves. Customers can log in with the same email. Their order history is intact. Their saved addresses, default payment methods, store credit — all of it.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. We point your existing domain at Shopify during cutover. If you have a complex DNS setup (multiple subdomains, email on the same domain), we plan that explicitly during scoping.

What about my subscriptions, memberships, or loyalty program?

These need a Shopify equivalent — usually Recharge, Bold, or a custom build. We audit what you currently have and recommend the right replacement during scoping. Customer subscription data migrates over.

Do you redesign my theme or migrate the existing one?

Your call. We can match your current design pixel-by-pixel on Shopify, or we can use the migration as a moment to refresh the brand. The audit call is where we figure out which one makes sense.

What apps will I need on Shopify?

Fewer than you have on WordPress. We do an apps audit during scoping — typically a third of WP plugins are already native to Shopify, another third have a paid Shopify equivalent, and the rest get retired or replaced with custom Liquid.

What happens after launch?

30 days of bug fixes and optimization, on us. After that, we offer monthly retainers if you want ongoing development, but most clients stay on as-needed.

Ready to move? Or just curious what it’d take?

Scroll back up and book a 30-minute migration audit. We’ll review your store, map the migration path, and tell you exactly what it’ll take. If it’s the wrong move for you right now, we’ll say so.
