Gokyo Outdoor Clothing & Gear makes premium kit for India’s adventurers. Eight stores, a loyal following — and online, they barely existed. So we built it from scratch.

Born where the world’s weight falls away.

Gokyo Outdoor Clothing & Gear takes its name from a sacred Himalayan village — the kind of place you reach only by choosing altitude over ease. Founder Venki built the brand from three decades on trails and summits, around one idea: light on weight, heavy on purpose. Premium jackets, base layers and trekking gear, organised into the Sherpa, Alpine and Explorer series — made for India’s adventurers and priced so the outdoors is within everyone’s reach.

A great brand that was invisible online.

Everything about Gokyo worked — except the part where someone could actually buy online. The old website worked against the brand: it looked untrustworthy, products were named inconsistently, and people gave up before they found what they wanted. We weren’t fixing a store. There wasn’t one to fix.

When we came on board in January 2024, every single thing had to be built from scratch.

Built before we spent a rupee on ads.

Before running a single campaign, we made the catalogue clean enough for Google to sell it for us — ~5,000 products structured in Merchant Center with proper titles, descriptions, GTINs and labels. That clean data became the backbone of every Performance Max campaign.

We read revenue, ad and behaviour signals to find the SKUs that actually sold — then put budget behind the winners and cut the slow movers.

Seasonal Forecasting

Year-one sales told us what was coming. We gave Gokyo six months’ notice on demand spikes — jackets were stocked before winter, never after.

Creative & Ad Copy

Product copy, UGC briefs and collection campaigns — tested relentlessly across formats and audiences on Meta and Google.
