Built for people who don’t chase trends.

Creatures of Habit makes a small, thoughtful collection of high-quality everyday essentials — luxurious classics cut from the finest all-natural fabrics. The brand began with a simple frustration: a closet full of clothes and nothing worth wearing. Their answer was a promise — no polyester or plastic, ever — and fabrics custom-knit from natural fibres like Peruvian Pima cotton, linen and hemp. Pieces made to wear for years, now shipping to over 42 countries.

A growing brand on a platform that couldn’t grow with it.

The business was working — ₹12 lakh a month and a loyal customer base. But the store underneath it was slow, fragile and expensive to maintain. Every new plugin added weight; every sale season added risk. To scale, the foundation had to change.

Slow page loads — hurting conversion and SEO
Plugin bloat — constant maintenance and breakages
A clunky checkout costing orders
Hard to manage a growing catalogue
Limited design flexibility — it didn’t feel like the brand
Shaky under traffic spikes and sale-day load
The starting point
₹12L a month — capped by a store too slow and fragile to scale.
Great brand, real demand, the wrong foundation. The fix wasn’t another plugin — it was a new platform.

Move the business safely, then make it shine.

Two jobs, one sequence: migrate every record off WooCommerce without losing a thing, then design and build a custom Shopify storefront worthy of the brand — and protect the SEO the whole way through.

01

Migration Strategy

Map every order, customer and product before touching anything live.

02

Data Integrity

Sales, orders, customers and products moved with zero loss.

03

UX & UI Design

A custom Shopify storefront, designed from scratch around the brand.

04

Storefront Build

Pixel-perfect, fast and mobile-first — built to convert.

05

SEO Preservation

301 redirects and on-page SEO so hard-won rankings survived the move.

06

Launch & QA

A staged cutover — no downtime, no lost data, no surprises.

Every order, customer and product — moved with zero loss.

This was the heart of the project. We migrated the entire WooCommerce business to Shopify: the full product catalogue, every customer, the complete order history and years of sales data — reconciled and verified so nothing was left behind.

A staged export → transform → load with validation at every step. Order and customer counts were reconciled before and after cutover to confirm zero loss, and URL-level 301 mapping carried SEO equity across to the new store.

Designed on a system, not a whim.

Before we built anything, we designed the rules — starting with the people who shop the store, then the site map, the layout grid, the type, the colour and the icons that tie it all together.

01We start with user personas — the real people who’ll shop the store.
02Then map every page and path, so nothing gets lost.

Iconography

A store that finally looks like the brand.

With the system in place, we designed and built the storefront end to end — brand-led, fast and built to convert.

Navigation design

We built a product page where no sale is lost.

The product page does the heavy lifting, so we rebuilt it around clarity and confidence — rich media, an honest size guide, reviews up front, and a mobile-first layout that makes buying effortless.

Mobile-firstMost shoppers arrive on a phone — so we designed for the phone first.

Rankings that survived the move — then grew.

A re-platform is where most brands quietly lose their search traffic. We made sure Creatures of Habit didn’t. Every URL was mapped and 301-redirected so equity carried across intact — and for a period after launch we ran active SEO: technical fixes, on-page optimisation and content.
