
Creatures of Habit makes a small, thoughtful collection of high-quality everyday essentials — luxurious classics cut from the finest all-natural fabrics. The brand began with a simple frustration: a closet full of clothes and nothing worth wearing. Their answer was a promise — no polyester or plastic, ever — and fabrics custom-knit from natural fibres like Peruvian Pima cotton, linen and hemp. Pieces made to wear for years, now shipping to over 42 countries.



The business was working — ₹12 lakh a month and a loyal customer base. But the store underneath it was slow, fragile and expensive to maintain. Every new plugin added weight; every sale season added risk. To scale, the foundation had to change.
Two jobs, one sequence: migrate every record off WooCommerce without losing a thing, then design and build a custom Shopify storefront worthy of the brand — and protect the SEO the whole way through.

This was the heart of the project. We migrated the entire WooCommerce business to Shopify: the full product catalogue, every customer, the complete order history and years of sales data — reconciled and verified so nothing was left behind.
A staged export → transform → load with validation at every step. Order and customer counts were reconciled before and after cutover to confirm zero loss, and URL-level 301 mapping carried SEO equity across to the new store.

A re-platform is where most brands quietly lose their search traffic. We made sure Creatures of Habit didn’t. Every URL was mapped and 301-redirected so equity carried across intact — and for a period after launch we ran active SEO: technical fixes, on-page optimisation and content.
